Paying it forward

In September 2019, my grandfather was unexpectedly diagnosed with brain cancer which progressed rapidly. It soon became clear to us that we would no longer be able to care for him at home. Rotary Hospice became the place where we could spend our last days with him in comfort with knowledgeable and caring staff.

When signing up for my high school’s co-op program, I knew immediately that I wanted to be a part of Rotary Hospice. I want other families to have the same quality time together that my family was given during such challenging circumstances.

~ Katie Stevens, Grade 12 co-op student
